Practical answers before you build
Find help with choosing, ordering and completing a BhoSpark kit. Product pages carry the details that vary by build, including contents, tools, support level and classroom information.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right age and difficulty?
The age range shows who the subject and instructions suit. Difficulty describes the build itself: Starter for an easier first project, Builder for more patience and precision, and Master for longer or more complex mechanisms.
Can a learner build independently?
Some kits suit independent building; others benefit from occasional or recommended adult help. Check the support guidance on the product page and consider the learner’s previous building experience as well as their age.
How long does a kit take?
Each product page gives an estimated assembly time. It is a planning guide, not a deadline. First-time builders, group work and investigations may take longer, and it is often better to pause than rush.
Do I need tools or glue?
Each product page separates what is included from the tools you will need. Some builds require no tools; others use common items such as PVA wood glue, sandpaper or a small screwdriver.
Are instructions included?
The product page lists the guidance supplied with that kit, such as an illustrated build guide, activity cards, worksheets or educator notes.
How do I pay?
Choose your currency first. At checkout you’ll see the payment methods currently available and the confirmed total before you pay.
Can a school request a formal quotation?
Yes. Use the school quote form and include the learner age or Grade, group size, subject and preferred timing. We’ll respond with suitable options and the current pricing and lead time.
What if a piece is missing or breaks?
Contact us with your order reference, kit name and the piece number from the guide. We’ll confirm the best way to replace it.
Where do you deliver?
Delivery options are available across South Africa. Enter your town at checkout to see the current methods, prices and estimates.
Can I send a kit as a gift?
Yes. Choose the delivery address at checkout. Use the age, difficulty, build time and finished experience to decide whether the project is a good match for the recipient.
How should completed models be stored?
Keep them dry, away from direct heat and where moving parts will not be forced. Product-specific care or safety guidance appears on the product page or in the supplied guide.
