How it works

  1. Step 1: Choose a challenge

Compare age, difficulty, build time and learning outcomes before you decide.

  2. Step 2: Build with confidence

Follow clear illustrated steps and see how each part contributes to the result.

  3. Step 3: See it work

Spin it, wind it, load it or code it — then observe what changes.

  4. Step 4: Take the idea further

Test a new condition, explain the mechanism or connect it to a classroom topic.

Turn moving water into a spinning turbine

Ingula stores energy by moving water between two reservoirs. Build the model, change the release height or flow, then connect the rotation you observe to the larger pumped-storage cycle.

Designed for the whole build

Clear parts. Clear steps. A result that works.

A good kit should feel inviting when the box opens and rewarding when the final part goes in. We show the age, challenge, time, contents and tools before you buy, then support you if a piece is missing or breaks.

How we think about learning

Questions parents and teachers ask

How do I choose the right kit?

Start with the recommended age, then compare difficulty and build time. Age shows who the content suits; Starter, Builder and Master show how much patience and precision the build requires.

Can children build independently?

Many kits are designed for independent building, while longer or more detailed projects benefit from adult help. Each product page states the recommended level of support.

Do I need tools?

Each product page lists exactly what is included and what you will need. Some kits require no tools; others use common items such as PVA wood glue or a small screwdriver.

What if a piece is missing or breaks?

Contact us with the kit name and the piece number from the guide and we’ll send a replacement. See returns.

Can schools order class sets?

Yes. Request a quote on the schools page and we’ll prepare one your school can process.
